dc.description.abstract Do You Trust Me? explores definitions and understandings of safety and belonging across identities and experiences, with regards to race, ethnicity, color, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, and body size. This project is rooted in the realities of safety throughout different public and private spaces, especially on a college campus, with application to Ball State University. These concepts are expressed through storytelling, dance, body movement, poetry, and collage. In viewing Do You Trust Me?, audiences will consider their own perspectives and what is truly important in conversations about identity, safety, and belonging on campus and in the community. en_US
