dc.description.abstract The purpose of this creative project was to create a transition manual/website for incoming students who were former foster care youth. It is the goal of this manual/website to provide useful information and resources that will assist former foster care youth in their transition into the higher education world. The plan was created after reviewing related literature that discussed the challenges and issues that foster care students faced. The five chapter manual/website provides former foster care youth who are planning on continuing their education with information covering some of the topics they will need to know about when making the transition. Due to the fact that many former foster care students lack the necessary forms of support or connections to get informed about college, this interactive manual/website will assist them along their journey. en_US
