New User Account Registration

In order to handle appropriately electronic theses and dissertations that have restricted user requirements, the Cardinal Scholar user account creation process has been changed.

You will need to register in order to be able to deposit items in the Cardinal Scholar repository.

As a registered user you will be able to deposit and manage your items.

In addition to depositing and managing your items, a registered user can set up alert options, so that e-mail notifications are sent when new items are placed in the repository.

In order to register with Cardinal Scholar, please send the following information to cardscholar@bsu.edu.

Your Name

Enter a title (Mr., Mrs., Ms., etc.), your given (first) name with any initials, and your family (last) name.

Your E-Mail Address

This must be a valid e-mail address (name@place.domain).

A Username

A username must begin with a letter and only contain letters and numerals.

The Archivist for Digital Development and University Records will review your request for a user account. You will be send a confirmation URL e-mailed to the address you have provided. The registration will not be activated until you visit the confirmation URL.

You may also provide the following optional information:

• Name of your department
• Name of your organization
• Physical address
• Country
• Web address of your home page
