This animated short film titled"Piggy Precious" is about the relationships between a
nerdy man, his pet pig and his and jealous girlfriend. Due to the girlfriend's overwhelming
jealously and belief that her boyfriend cares more about his pet pig than her, she snaps. The film
focuses on the ways she tries to prepare the pig for dinner, so she can have her boyfriend to
herself. This leads to dire, unknowing consequences for the pig; but in the end, it's the
girlfriend's jealously and horrible actions that lead to her own defeat and doom. This stop motion
film short was produced using the production pipeline which consists of preproduction,
production and postproduction. Many influences came to mind while creating Piggy Precious,
such as Christiane Cegavske, Yuri Norstein and Karel Zeman. |
