dc.description.abstract Brotherhood, my creative project, is a short animated feature that examines the lives of two urban youths who are growing up in a family that is blindsided by an unfortunate turn of events, however their life can still be restored if the main protagonist can discover one important truth: Sometimes the people in our lives who are hardest to love end up being the most important people we should cherish. This story shows the beauty that can be found in life even within the most unfortunate of circumstances. I use several types of computer software to create the film including Toonboom, After Effects, and Adobe Premier, in order to fully develop my vision and create a strong project that can be featured at film festivals around the nation. My primary goal with this creative work is to formulate a piece that connects with my viewer emotionally by sharing an important concept I have learned on my journey as an artist. In a culture that struggles with the idea and reality of truth, I am presenting a dialogue that addresses aspects of life that are universal, specifically the importance of love and sacrifice. en_US
