dc.description.abstract “Cracked Ivory” is an anthology comic book script in which college is the central theme. In each anecdote and/or vignette an observation is made about the college life, revealing cracks in the refined ivory tower and in some instances, contemporary culture writ large. Mainstays of the college experience like apathy, isolation, pop-culture obsession, self-important professors, and ideologically motivated course content are all laid bare to be either lamented or laughed at in digestible bites. en_US
