dc.description.abstract The purpose of this creative project was to identity and develop helpful tools and resources on event planning and fundraising to benefit student organizations at collegesand universities.Event planning and fundraising are critical areas for student organizations. This booklet would provide new materials for students, faculty, staff, and student organizations. A search for relevant resources was conducted in addition to interviewing four professional and student leaders on the campus and non-profit community. The four informants were selected based on their previous role as an event planner and fundraiser within the campus or area community. There were three primary limitations to this current project. First, the resources on this topic was very limited, specifically pertaining to student organizations. Second, the four informants were from the same community. The final limitation was the short time frame with which this project was undertaken. The final result of this project was the creation of a guidebook for student organizations to utilize in planning events and fundraising.
