Abstract:
This study is to build a set of lesson procedures for EFL students. In order to provide a sufficiently-immersed target language environment, the immersion approach is used to give students sufficient immersion in the target language. In order to offer overflowing interaction between peer students, Vygotsky's sociocultural theory (SCT) and Bakhtin's dialogic heteroglossia are used as fundamental theories to give interaction to students. Based with these theories, the lesson procedure for EFL students is called as "Building a small broadcast community for Korean EFL," which enables students to interact with each other through four distinctive stages: the video-viewing/transcribing stage, the dubbing stage, the correction stage and the role-playing stage in an English immersed broadcast community.
