dc.description.abstract The purpose of this project was to review the literature and summarize current best practices in physical education. Following this review, a detailed Kindergarten through Eighth grade curriculum was developed that encompassed each of the key components and best practices drawn out of the literature review. It includes a Kindergarten through Eighth grade scope and sequence and a sample unit plan that includes appropriate developmental progressions, learning activities and assessments. en_US
