dc.description.abstract This creative project was the development of a Learning Resources Center at Anderson College to serve as an independent study and tutorial facility for writing and related reading and study skills. This report of the creative project described the design and programming of the Learning Resources Center, including organization, the training of tutors, placement and scheduling of students, financing, and the specific course design and lesson plans for a one-semester course in basic writing.Further, the creative project included an annotated bibliography of selected texts, workbooks and audio-visual materials for use in individualized and independent study programs in writing, reading and study skills.
