dc.description.abstract |
This comprehensive project focuses on the development of an educational play environment. But, in order to understand what an educational play environment is, the educational systems of our society will be reviewed and analyzed. The problems associated with our learning environments will affect the way in which child's play is viewed, and the way in which spaces for children are designed. The final design solution will not reflect most people's expectations of how a play environment looks, or how the play environment functions. The design will create connections between the classroom and the outdoors while encouraging children to learn under "free" play conditions. Basically, the entire concept will evolve around the idea of learning while having fun. |
