dc.description.abstract The subject of interest in this study was the assessment of the need for mental health services within the catchment area of a Community Mental Health Center (CMHC). With increased public pressure for accountability of services, administrators have become concerned that services be provided which are responsive to the expressed need, for such services within the CMHC catchment area. With such an emphasis on planning, it has become important for decision makers to be provided with accurate information about the expressed need for services that are, or may be, provided by the center. The objective of this study was to assess the need for mental health services within the catchment area of the Mental Health Center at Fort Wayne. en_US
