dc.description.abstract THE PURPOSE of this program is to bring together all of the facts that have an influence on this project. It also attempts to organize these facts in an orderly manner to facilitate schematic design.THE PROJFJCT that this program defines is a transportation center for Dayton, Ohio. This center will tie existing modes of transportation to new transportation facilities which have been located in the downtown Dayton area. Me center will also provide a home base for two future modes of public transportation which will be implemented within the next 10-15 years.THE MOTIVATING idea behind this project is to provide a single place within the city where all of the public and private transportation systems can cm -e together. This should provide maximum convenience for the public and increase use of public transportation.
