Abstract:
This book is purposely designed to be used as a reference source for all prospective thesis students at the College of Architecture and. Planning, Ball State University. This book is a brief compilation of assorted material that spans 12 months of dilegent work. As a reference source, the student is encouraged to refer to this book as a problem-solving solution of how to produce a thesis project. Therefore the design PROCESS is carefully outlined in the Table of Contents for quick referral. Also, the student may find the Appendices especially helpful during the most difficult phase of design-------getting startedThe original thesis PROGRAM is now fractured, taken apart, and. reassembled within this book. Most of the original material (dated 100478) is now included in the following chapters:* INTRODUCTION/GOALS*JUSTIFICATION * SITE ANALYSIS * ORGANIZATIONAL DATAI wish to acknowledge my thanks to all of my fellow 1978-79 thesis students for their helpful criticisms and comments. Also, thanks go the few faculty critics (notably Prof. Woodfin) who sat-in on my juries, and. special thanks go to Jack Wyman, producer/ director of the "Not-Ready-For-Design-rime-Players".*
