Abstract

This book is the culmination of my architectural thesis. The body of the thesis is the design of a facility for the holly shores Girl Scout Council. The facility includes a headquarters office, a program center, lodging and care-taker’s house.The program Center, an educational facility, has been the main point of attention. My aim has been to design an environment that is conductive to expanding and developing the environmental, social and self awareness of its users.Additional material providing more detailed information on the site and program as well as schematic design has been placed in the appendix.
