Abstract

This thesis contains ten lesson plans, which could be adapted to almost any level of high school Spanish. The materials and authentic sources which have been used are all items which I brought back after an eight week stay in Spain. The lessons are designed to give students some exposure to a Spanish speaking culture. Not only will they be shown articles from the culture, they will also be given the opportunity to interact with one another as if they were Spaniards. The information ranges from that of leisure activities to markets to brief history lessons about prominent Spanish towns. These lessons should help students in their understanding of the Spanish culture.
