dc.description.abstract This project is a compilation of material which is meant to be used within the classroom by the secondary science teacher. The material within this thesis contains course rationale, unit objectives for each plan, and lesson plans to accompany each unit. Lists of sources will be included, which will be an invaluable resource for any classroom teacher. The five topics of study will be as follows: Habitat destruction, Endangered species, Global warming, Overpopulation, and Pollution.
