Abstract:
In response to a request made by the Muncie-Delaware Chamber of Commerce for me to create a map that featured destinations in downtown Muncie and other Muncie "hot-spots" I have created a "Cultural Travel Guide" for Ball State University students that features destinations that most Ball State student and even faculty do not know exist. Several programs were used in the creation of this map and the companion Web Site including Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe ImageReady and Dreamweaver MX. The map features destinations with cultural themes along with a few destinations that offer leisure activities that college students and their visitors may enjoy. Along with the map a CD is enclosed with a PDF file of the map and html page for the Web Site.
