dc.description.abstract This thesis has been prepared as a study of the reintroduction of the grey wolf into the Yellowstone National Park. We cannot look at just this issue alone because many other aspects must be studied. This paper will therefore include the historical basis, folklore, Indian legends, biology and behavior, wolf management, and lastly, wolves around the world.
