dc.description.abstract This project consists of four middle school lesson plans covering national mathematics standards for the middle school grades. The four topics will be pattern recognition, modular numbers, common factors, and prime numbers. By these activities, students are able to see how their seemingly tedious math curriculum has applications in daily life now and throughout history. These activities are presented on a website, so they are easily accessible to teachers everywhere.
