Abstract

The following program notes are designed to serve as a supplement to the works performed in the senior recital. The notes attempt to describe the context in which the works were composed. Biographical information about the composers and the time period is provided as a resource for further understanding the setting for the selected works of Hindemith, Mozart, Bach, and Faure.
