Abstract:
This discussion of the development of the Internationale, an annual magazine published by Ball State University's Center for International Programs, explores the step-by-step process used to complete the production of a publication. The thesis first outlines the background and initial research in this project, then describes conclusions drawn by research conducted, including purpose of the piece, target publics, and message statements. The text then outlines the quality of the overall content of the publication and its graphic design. At the conclusion of the thesis, an original re-design of the piece is found.
