dc.description.abstract This thesis examines Jesus' role as teacher, his teaching style and methodology, his audience, and his teaching environment. As a social studies education major at Ball State University, I have learned much about educational theory and teaching methods. As a student teacher, a Sunday School teacher, and even a substitute teacher, I have learned much about my own teaching style, methodology, and philosophy. It is in the light of what I have learned through these experiences that I examine Jesus as teacher.
