Indiana and the SAT : why are we doing so poorly? : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

Abstract

This video documentary is similar to a news magazine feature story. It involves more work than a typical news package and isn't quite long enough to be an entire thirty minute show.An interview with a Wawasee school board member, who has studied SAT scores and rank, uncovers surprising results. Indiana consistently scores in the bottom 1/5 of the United States. A Ball State Educational Psychology professor and a Muncie Central guidance counselor provide possible reasons for Indiana's poor performance rebutting the school board member's claims.
