Abstract:
This research compares three visitors bureaus within the state of Indiana to determine how the size of the area a visitors bureau represents effects the functions and size of the visitors bureau. The three areas that the visitors bureaus represent are, respectively, Muncie, South Bend, and Indianapolis. To illustrate the difference in size among the areas, local information on each location is provided. Each bureau's size, organization, and functions are then explored to determine if geographic size effects the functions of a bureau.
