The impact of student involvement on success after college : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

Abstract

This project focuses on student involvement in extracurricular activities while in college and the affects that involvement has on the student's success after college. Several studies have looked into how campus involvement affects students while in college. Research findings of these studies were utilized to create a seven-question survey instrument. Surveys were sent to Ball State University Alumni who were members of the Student Leadership Development Board. Telephone interviews were conducted about their campus involvement and how it influenced their post-college success. The results of these interviews are analyzed and discussed.
