Abstract

Ecological stoichiometry is the study of the imbalances of nutrients between trophic levels of an ecosystem and the particular constraints that are imposed by these imbalances. Relative to aquatic ecosystems, terrestrial ecosystems have had less attention in role of carbon, nitrogen and phosphorous and their respective ratios (C:N:P).
