dc.description.abstract	The career of an actuary, although it is considered one of the best jobs in America, is relatively unfamiliar to most people, especially high school students considering their options in Universities and fields of study. Therefore, I have created an informative presentation about the actuarial career which will introduce mathematically-minded high school students to the field of Actuarial Science. I have also developed an insurance simulation which will help students understand basic but essential actuarial methods in conditional probability and pricing based on past experience.
