Abstract

In this paper, I delved into the positive impact playing music has on student engagement, mental well-being, and creativity. Student engagement can be fostered by playing music that engages students on an intellectual, emotional, and behavioral level that involves having specific tempo, repetition, and harmony. Mental well-being can impact the future of students and influence sociocultural factors and music can be a tool to release student emotions and bridge gaps between cultures. Creativity is affected by the teacher and curriculum used within the classroom and music can be used as a tool in the background during this time.
