Abstract

This paper discusses the use a neural network to solve a problem of predicting stock prices. A background discussion of neural networks is given. Next, the models used for the network are discussed. This discussion shows the shortcomings and advantages of the networks used. It was discovered that a radial basis network best fit the data being presented. However, these findings are not entirely accurate to what the stock market actually does, since so many factors influence it.
