This project has explored the set designing for the opera--Madame Butterfly. There were two scenes for three acts. The set used in this study was tracing the traditional architecture of Japan. This project revealed the importance of set designing for a play or an opera. The project has discussed the designing process as well as the way the set would be presented on stage.In addition, the value, advantages, and weaknesses of the project have been mentioned.
