Creating "a moment": a one person show

This project was born out of the desire to create something beautiful, funny, and moving out of the stress and pressure felt throughout becoming an artist. My one person show set out to answer the question of how my self worth has both affected and empowered my art. I strived to better understand what it means to be an artist and how art that is created is born out of the experiences, feelings and mental state of the artist creating. Throughout the last four years my artistry and craft has been developed and grown through hardships, struggles, laughter, friends, community, and classroom experiences. As a student of art, there have been many times where I experienced immense pressure and anxiety when having to create and present projects.
