Apartment B : an experiment in traditional narrative structure

This project is an attempt to tell a story using only one character and very little dialogue. The goal was to tell a cohesive story through visuals and movement rather than character interaction and dialogue. Researching lighting and dramatic camera movement helped to tell a story about a man left without a family after a tragic incident. Studying many traditional narrative structures and understanding the inner workings of today’s narratives helped to discover the formula for most narrative forms. It was there that we played with the expectations and created something much more original.
