Abstract
This research paper focuses on the relationship shared between sport information directors in the Mid-American Conference and the respective print sports journalists, in regards to the coverage of collegiate sports. All sport information directors, and the print sports journalists that cover those schools, were issued the survey through e-mail. The survey asked several questions regarding communication and feelings that one profession may have on the other. From the results of this study, and from the implications of the results, it seems the relationship sport information directors and print sports journalists in the Mid-American Conference share is a positive and respected one. There was much agreement and consensus that the two professions seemed to share. The results show promise for further research on this topic and possible ground breaking discoveries of the relationship shared.
