How do you begin to rectify the lostness of one’s ancestral identity? How do you promote an order by which people can align themselves, in addition to, finding something worth struggle of existence? Hip-Hop has been the dominate culture of Black people in America for the past 50 years and it has been the dominate music genre on the planet for the past 5 years. Hip-Hop like all cultural movements has its flaws. It does however give Black people a seat at the table. The utilization of the art of wordplay to express one’s paradigm within the state of society shifts ever so slightly the listener’s view. Architecture is recognized as a sort of high-class art form. However, unlike most art it also serves the function of bettering the facilitation of human life. The number of resources poured into architecture is gargantuan. We, by way of our time, energy, focus, habitation, and resources hold these buildings metaphorically high. Christianity is a religion I happened to really understand by listening to Hip-Hop.
