The purpose of this study was to access the recreational needs of the town of McCordsville, Indiana. Subjects in this study were residents who owned or rented a home within the McCordsville city limits during the 2004-05 calendar year. Each participant completed a one-page close-ended questionnaire consisting of three parts. Data was analyzed by compiling the frequency of responses on each of the items chosen on the questionnaire. It was not determined if recreational needs existed for the town because of low return rates from the questionnaires distributed. However, of those responding to the questionnaire the needs for additional recreational facilities did exist.
