Abstract

This collection of activities uses manipulatives in order to teach trigonometry and calculus. Manipulatives are a way of teaching mathematics with a more hands-on approach. This helps to bring some of the more abstract ideas of mathematics into more of a concrete context. The purpose of these activities is for teachers to help their students to more easily understand the ideas and concepts of trigonometry and calculus with an activity that uses the senses to make it more concrete.
