Abstract

Cleveland Station is a response to the need for new and innovative mass transit facilities. This facility combines both Amtrak and commuter rail service with interstate and intercity buses while providing drop-off and some parking for private cars, cabs and limos. Provision is made for those activities, both commercial-and administrative, which make travel more enjoyable. The consolidation of all modes of land transport will encourage the use of mass transit through the availability of one form to the other. It is hoped the creation of this transportation mode will stimulate the eastward and lakeward expansion of the C.B.D. while adding further impetus to the proposed Lake Erie International Jetport.
