Abstract
The study will cover the effects of ABA therapy on individuals with autism with an emphasis on high functioning autism. There are a vocal number of individuals with highfunctioning autism that say that they feel like ABA therapy was traumatic for them and even abusive. This study attempts to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of ABA therapy while also identifying possible alternative methods of therapy.
