Abstract
This creative project is a collection of five software programs for teaching important terms and concepts in middle school home economics classes and other related classes. The Home Economics Review contains programs entitled 1) Sewing Equipment, 2) Sewing Machine Parts, 3) Pattern Markings, 4) Chapter Eleven Review, and 5) Color Quiz. The developer of the programs could find no appropriate programs available commercially. In order to develop programming skills, the developer completed several computer classes. Trial versions of the programs were developed and tested with students. Color and sound were added for a more enjoyable effect. Test results indicated that students learned the desired information by using the created programs.
