Interactive phtojournalism portfolio of Michael M. Connor : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

This project began with the plan to show my photojournalism portfolio in a new way. All too often, students do not "think outside the box." They use accepted methods that are tried and true because they do not want to take chances with anything new.Photojournalism is an evolving field. For the first time in history, technology is evolving what has stayed generally static for decades. The traditional photojournalist is asked to know that technology in the same respect as he knows his camera.Creating an interactive CD-ROM enables me to show employers that I grasp that side of the industry. It also sets me apart from others applying for the same job.
