Abstract
Architecture has existed before humans and will continue to exist after they are gone. The future of architecture lies in living machines which perpetually add to their numbers. Each living machine is made up of varying amounts of individual units which perform their own separate functions. When connected, however, they together comprise the living machine(s) that will create ever-changing spatial conditions and forms in their surrounding contexts. These too will change as the living machines move across the Earth, fulfilling their ultimate goal to sustain their existence and produce more living machines in a new altering architectural landscape.
