Developing a methodical approach to composing and recording contemporary urban music with academically and non-academically trained musicians

This Creative Project provides a source of knowledge for contemporary urban music composers and producers. It illustrates a step-by-step analysis/guide of how one can attain the contemporary urban sound I achieved. This Creative Project also examines different types of recording approaches. It shows how to produce successful music with academically trained and non-academically trained musicians through developing a way to communicate musical ideas with simple descriptive musical language.
