The objective of this creative project is to create a body of artwork inspired by and derived from common themes, concepts and symbolism shared by the many religious and mythical traditions of the world. This body of work celebrates the knowledge and wisdom of these traditions and expresses them poetically and personally. This body of work consists of eleven digital prints created with a mixture of digital photography and digital collage. The process required three stages known in a traditional filmmaking sense as pre-production (sketching, design, and planning), production (lighting, shooting, directing, and acquiring found images) and finally post-production (design, compositing, color correction, and printing). Religious artworks from ancient unknown artists to contemporary filmmakers have an influence on the style and design of this body of work.
