Abstract
The study of inositol phosphate isomers is important because of their role as second messengers in eukaryotic organisms. This study is concerned with developing a method using 8-hydroxyquinoline-5-sulfonic acid with a metal ion to form a chelate that can be used to determine cellular concentrations of various inositol phosphate isomers.
