Abstract

This creative project (1) examined, analyzed, and organized the history and relevance of student activities within the context of programming boards, (2) showed that student activities has an immense affect on cognitive, as well as, social skills, (3) explained the effects of student activities on retention and learning communities, and (4) created a manual for Student Affairs Professionals to use as they develop leadership skills. The catalyst for this creative project was from my personal experiences in organizations such as student government, program board, and the Greek community.
