Abstract

This study has presented a comprehensive overview of the context and significance of how raw image capturing can shape production and post-production workflow of non-fiction video. The evidence suggests that there are both advantages and disadvantages to this method of image capturing. The documentary submitted as the creative project, Hoosier Legends, utilizes this form of raw image capturing to produce the video. This project explores what the production team did to utilize this particular workflow, the steps involved to produce the documentary, the cost associated with the project and the advantages and disadvantages this form of image capturing brought about. It also details the knowledge gained and recommendations for future productions that utilize this same form of image capturing.
