Do you need to lose weight? : a look at the weight reduction programs in Middletown America, Muncie, Indiana : [an honors thesis (HONRS 499)]

Fat is such an ugly word for such a sensitive problem. I should know, I have been called it enough. My purpose in writing this thesis, aside from the academic one, is to explore "Fatness" and some of its cures.My idea is that I can perhaps reinforce my own efforts towards my goal of "not-fat" and at the same time reinforce others who, like myself, are struggling with a weight problem.
