Maps and Cartography: Map Projections, A Tutorial

This tutorial describes the types of map projections used to depict accurate renderings of the earth's surface. The focus of this tutorial will involve twenty types of map projections and their characteristics, with examples given using maps from the Ball State University GIS Research and Map Collection.
