Truth : a work of fiction : an honors thesis (HONRS 499)

This short novel deals with possible consequences arising from the use of sperm banks, especially those that are not regulated by the government. Narrated by Lora Fleming, it chronicles the harrowing and emotionally charged months after the birth of her granddaughter. In a shocking conclusion, deceptions and family secrets are revealed, forcing the characters to restructure their lives and new realities. Though entirely fictional, this novel was designed to be as realistic as possible, causing the reader to consider the "what ifs" of life in this age of medical technology.
